They will numb it with Novocaine and that will be a lil stick then your gum will get numb you wont even know your drooling then from there it wont hurt you just feel some pressure and coldness on your tongue and if the cavity is bad it may smell when they drill on it from the rotten tooth but it wont hurt after the shot don't worry the shot inst that bad either it will be fine
If it is a normal cavity, they will numb the area and add a filling. If it is a bad cavity you will need a root canal. Root canals are long and miserable procedures but when done correctly they are relatively pain free. The most miserable part of a root canal is the recovery time afterwards.
Experience with neglected teeth
It doesnt hurt. Ive had one before. I dont think they would put you to sleep for filling a cavity. It's not that bad. :) . I'm getting one filled tomorrow and 2 teeth pulled :( ahh.
They numb the area with lidocaine. You shouldn't feel a thing.
