Okay, so I got permanent retainers on the top and bottom of my teeth... And everyone has told me that you can't feel them, but mine bulge out... They are so out there they are pretty much like braces on the inside of my mouth. Is this normal? Are they actually permanent? I mean, will I ever get them out? And if not, can I get the dentist to redo my permanent retainers?

well it's a piece of wire stuck to the back of your teeth, so you will definitely feel something. it shouldn't be enough to irritate anywhere though. off in usually around a year.
If your retainer is getting you problems you can go to the dentist and fix them..but permanent retainers need to be worn forever.
