Question: Roof of mouth itches like mad, someone help me find out what it is?
Can anybody help? For the past 6-7 months I've had a itchy roof of mouth, on & of, some days its fine & then some days it drives me mad! I've noticed the roof of my mouth has a reddish area, no broken skin or anything, just a itch, the dryer my mouth the worse it gets! I've seen 2 docs & neither know the cause? They didn't seem concerned by them but I have major health anxiety & am very worried its something awful that ill never get over:(! Someone help

it may be just allergies. A common symptom of allergies is itchy palette (roof of mouth) maybe its red from you rubbing it? Try to rinse with some salt water, or maybe some strong mouthwash,(listerine) to kill any bacteria and if it doesnt get better in a couple of days see a Dr.( one that can answer your queston or put your mind at ease)
