Question: Information About Under-bite Surgery & Braces?
I am a 16 year old boy.
I have a big under bite, and my dentist said that it is "severe" because of how big it is.
I have seen a doctor, and I can't have surgery until I am 18, because I will still be growing until then.
Because Of My Under bite, my child hood has been basically ruined.
At All Of My Schools, from Secondary to My Other colleges I have been bullied because of it, and It has prevented me from making more friends, and that people don't want to hang around with me just because of this. And I have been name called at college for years, and I even left a college course and took a year out because of this, and my parents don't know.
I really want to get this fixed. I know I will have to wait, but should I tell my parents about me being bullied. I am worried they wont believe me.
How much does it hurt having the surgery and having braces before and after?
