Question: Why am i getting my wisdom teeth at such a young age?

im 16 yrs old and already have all 4, every doctor says this is odd and not normal for someone so young since 18-22 is normal development of them. im getting them pulled in a month im not too scared since i had 4 teeth pulled at once for my braces but" do you know what might of onset such early growth considering its not hereditary ",with my dad getting his at 25 and my mom at 27 (they never got them pulled either) but my gums hurt so i am..

There is nothing to be worried about, like everything in life people do it at different stages. It would be the same as when people reach puberty at different ages. I had mine pulled when I was 16 (only one was grown one was starting and two were buds). There probably is no real "cause" for them to start growing at an early age. Some times these things just happen and it is no indication of being unhealthy or anything. Heredity could play a part for some people but heredity is not everything. The environment plays and important role gene expression. All the best of luck with your wisdom teeth extraction - there is nothing to worry about so focus on preparing some good meals for afterwards :)
