Yeah its gonna hurt, but with the proper medication it should only be mild discomfort after the procedure.

It can yes. It can depend on your pain tolerance too. I am pretty sure they can put a cream stuff that numbs your gums first before putting the needle in. If they do offer it where you are getting them done, you can close your eyes to not see the needle go in. I dont like needles either, and i always looked away when i got poked with them. Also it can hurt after the procedure too, as long as you take care of it well (the healing) by taking the medicine correctly, and advoiding crunchy foods (eating soft foods like yogurt, ice cream spaghetti etc) you shiuld be fine and it wont hurt as much.

i had four teeth removed this thrusday and it actually didnt go so bad. If you are really concerned for the needles ask for other options. Needles actually help, you basically dont feel any pain. they removed all 4 teeth in less than 30min. You are going to bleed alot so keep that in mind. it took me atleast 2-3 hours for me to stop. The dentist are your friends so i would listen to them. also they should prescribed pain killers so incase you feel pain it should help

The truth is yes there may be a bit of discomfort but however if u take care of the site and take paracetamol regularly then u should be ok. The worst part according to my patients is the injection to numb it.
Hope u will be ok

I am a dentist

You are only having teeth out because it is necessary you could ask for some topical numbing cream before the needle, then you won't feel a thing! (almost)

All the best with your treatment, let me know how you got on
