Question: Im getting braces and had first ortho appointment today?
so i had my first appointment today and my friends said when you first go they take a mould of your teeth but he didnt do that he looked at my teeth and after hed finished said he might have to have teeth out or narrow em down on my bottom jaw with sanding disks (what does that mean)????????

So the first time i went i just got pictures and he looked at my teeth my next appointment he took the molds.. everything is different so don't always go by what your friend says. So maybe your next appointment you will get your molds. and with the sanding disks i have no clue so i can't help you on that lol
He supposed to take the mold on the day you do get your braces. The teeth on the bottom of your jaw are scrunched up like mine but he'll probably but braces on you before he takes anything out of your mouth.
