Do I have to take my lip ring out when I go to the dentist?!
Question: Do I have to take my lip ring out when I go to the dentist?
Answers:
It all really depends.
When I went to the dentist once, the lady made me take my snakebites out for the x-ray. It pissed me off because the hole closed up a little, and by the time my appointment was over, it hurt a lot to put them back in.
But last time I went to the dentist, the lady I had this time didn't make me take them out for the x-ray, and things turned out just fine.
I guess it also depends on if you have a stud, or a ring. I suppose you would have to take them out if it was a ring, because the tools they use could get caught on the ring, or the ring could get in the way if they're filling in cavities, or doing hands-on stuff.
Like I said, it all depends.
Well...yes. It would be alot easier for the dentist to get around in your mouth. It would also be sanitary too. Think of it this way: if you were to go do an ear doctor to have an infection in your ear checked out wouldnt you take out all earings?
