what should you expect after getting your wisdom teeth pulled out?!

your dentist must have given you some instructions to follow after extraction.
take the antibiotic along the pain killer on time every 6 hrs mostly.
only cold/soft diet for 24 hrs.ice-cream,shakes will be good.
after 24 hrs warm salt water rinses 4-5 times/day for a week.
do all this and no pain will be there and socket will heal fast.
ya its ok to swallow some saliva and blood.DO NOT SPIT OR BLOW AIR OUT.as it can dislodge the blood clot in the socket.

When I got mine extracted I had boney impacted wisdom teeth which were more difficult to get out, the top ones weren't that bad but the bottoms ones hurt bad for a month. Mine started hurting that night but if you just had you teeth pulled and there were no complications it might not hurt you that bad at all, I think after the first day or two the pain should actually start getting better. Just be very careful not to suck hard or anything, NO straws,there is no need to worry about ingesting blood but it shouldn't bleed for more than a few days. I wasn't prescribed antibiotics at first and then I got an infection and needed them but It all depends, some people don't need them but if the doctor told you to take them then follow his directions exactly.

You can take them if you get pain, I did.
The pain varies on everyone, mine wasn't that bad.
I've swallowed saliva and blood before, nothing killer unless you choke from it.
