Either go to another dentist to get a second evaluation / price quote, or go to Mexico
(especially if you are fluent in spanish) keep in mind however that dental work done in
a country other than your own is typically not covered by your insurance company ....

Dental work is very expensive. All dentists charge alot for root canals, fillings, crowns, etc. It is crazy, but they aren't regulated and can charge what they want. Your insurance, however, may pay for alot of that and it won't cost you alot out-of-pocket, so you need to check and see what your dental plan will cover.

root canels run about 600-800 each and fillings 150.00 from my exp.
