I have to have 2 teeth pulled. What can you tell me about the experience?!

Question: I have to have 2 teeth pulled. What can you tell me about the experience?
When my mother was pregnant with me, she did several drugs and drank alchohol.
My baby teeth came in rotted, and all were pulled out when I was 5 yrs old. I had false teeth as a baby.
Whenever I brush my teeth, I lose enamel because my teeth are so weak and bad. I have several cavities, and 2 teeth are so rotten they need to be pulled.

Can you tell me if I will feel anything during the procedure?
What will it be like after they pull them?

I Had 2 teeth pulled on Monday they dont put you to sleep or give you laughing gas they numb your mouth with Novocaine and all you can feel is pulling, i had a bad one as my root snapped and was trapped in my gum and it was painful getting that out but the other tooth came out fine with no pain.

You don't feel a thing. They don't put you to sleep, but they give you laughing gas. Then, they numb almost your entire mouth. They pull the teeth, but you can't feel it at all. Then, you leave and wait a little for the numbness to wear off. It's completely painless. :)

i'm sorry to hear about your situation. i was really worried because i had to get a baby tooth pulled a few months ago. but i can honestly say it wasn't bad. some dentist do different things. like i read on yahoo answers that some people got a numbing gel on their gums before they numbed their mouth with a shot. i did not get that, but when you go they may have it, so make you ask them for it. what they did for me is they took a numbing shot, stuck me in 3 different areas around the tooth. but the 2nd and 3rd stick weren't hardly felt at all because my mouth was already numbing from the first stick. then she waited about 30 seconds, then she got a special tool, kinda like pliers for your mouth, and told me i will hear the sound of cracking when she pulls it out, so don't worry. the only thing i could feel when she pulled it out was a tiny bit of pressure. not bad AT ALL! just make sure you take something like advil or tylenol right after because i was running some errands afterwards and the numbing was wearing off and i had not taken any meds yet, so my mouth felt pretty sore. i hope this helps! there is really nothing to be worried about, honestly, braces are even worse because your whole mouth is sore for at least 3 days after getting them on because you teeth are shifting.

i had the experience
