Hi there, facial swelling, bruising and slight bleeding are normal and to be expected after wisdom teeth extractions. Around 48 hours post op you are at your worst which does tie in with your symptoms, I know this is not nice but this is expected. An upper wisdom tooth extracted is accompanied with a lot of pushing rather than pulling and this can cause swelling up and around the eye area, some people get a black eye, a lower wisdom tooth removal is more pulling and not as forceful as the top one, you can get swelling with this and bruising around the chin area. Ice packs are a great idea, you must also take Paracetamol AND ibuprofen every 4 hours without fail as these two together work well. If the extractions were quite difficult then antibiotics maybe should have been given out as routine. They do this in the UK but I am not sure where you are? If the swelling is not down by tomorrow when taking what I have advised then try getting an appointment for some Amoxicillinn. Good Luck
