oh come on the needle in the denist doesn't hurt and is over in about 10 seconds

you will be fine, i assure you. it's like a nip and last a couple seconds, once thats done you won't feel any pain. (i don't think they do laughing gas anymore do they?)
seriously YOU WILL BE FINE! it does not hurt at all, if you think about it too much you will think it hurts more than it does (if you've had it done before)
i have had many dental operations, and everytime i've braved it! i was onlt 7 and 11.
