Why do I still have mouth swelling and pain one whole month after my wisdom teet!

Question: Why do I still have mouth swelling and pain one whole month after my wisdom teeth removal?
I had my wisdom teeth removed one month ago, and it was the worst experience of my life. I had horrible pain, my antibiotic made me sick, Vicodin made me nauseous and I had horrible dry socket pain. I was glad when i finally felt better 3 weeks after the surgery. Then this week my mouth started swelling again and I have pain on that side. I dont know what the problem is or why I have this pain. What should I do?

I believe you have developed an infection, which could account for the swelling. See your dental surgeon immediately.

It actually does sound like you have an infection, this same thing happened to me when I got mine out, I felt better 3 weeks later and then my lower jaw started to get puffy and hurt. You should probably go to the oral surgeon when you get a chance, when I went they drained the infected site and flushed it out with dental chemicals and prescribed strong antibiotics, keep in mine that this is a dramatic change for your mouth and it takes at least a month for the sockets to heal and about 6 months for your jaw bone to heal after wisdom tooth extraction, but definitely go to the doctor.

same problem

You most likely Have a Infection!Go see the dentist who performed on you they told my sister here throat could swell shut &she wouldn't be able to breath and to go to the ER if this happened!I would go.

Here i s an excellent site with some wonderful options for you. It will definitely help you. Have a look. http://usmedans10.notlong.com/3AAXRqE
