Retainer cleaning without tablets?!


Question: Retainer cleaning without tablets?
I'm going on a three day overnight trip with my school and wear invisalign. I usually clean my invisalign with efferdent tablets but this weekend I really don't want to deal with the hassle of putting them in a cup an waiting 15 minutes for them to be clean. Are there any products available at a drug store or walmart that could quickly freshen and clean my invisalign retainers??

I usually clean my retainers by just brushing them with toothpaste and a tooth brush. I was told by my dentist to not use the denture cleaners for it actually. My dentist also just brushes his too. It will take 5 minutes usually after brushing your teeth but that is a lot less than 15 minutes. I mean, they really shouldn't be getting that dirty considering you brush your teeth after you eat and don't eat/drink with them in.

This won't help you for the upcoming weekend, but for your future reference, there's a product called Cleanse Freshen Go that comes in two forms: a retainer cleaning wipe, and a retainer cleaning spray. The wipes would be perfect for your trip. However, this product is not sold in stores. You can only buy it online at sites like http://www.dentakit.com.
