crest white strips burned my gums...?!

Question: Crest white strips burned my gums...?
i just got my teeth cleaned today at the dentist, so to polish that off, i figured i might as well use the crest white strips today to finish off my teeth care routine. now, i've only used the strips twice before. i got a box at the store and this was my third try.
anyway, i put them on and within seconds my gums were BURNING.. it hurt so bad i just took the strips off and threw them away. was this because of my dental cleaning today? i did a fluoride treatment, could that be why they were burning? they never did that before. and i really don't want to stop using them because my teeth aren't as white as i'd like them to be.

Answers:

It could be a result of cleaning but it could also be just a reaction to the strips. Our mouths sometimes develop sensitivities to products. I would just give it a couple of days and then try it again, if you are still having problems then talk to your dentist.

its because of your cleaning after you have your teeth cleaned you gums are really sensitive so try th warm salt water and see if that stops the burning
