Getting wisdom teeth out today.. SCARED?!

Question: Getting wisdom teeth out today.. SCARED?
I know the doctor will tell me everything once i get there but i'm just looking to hear about how it was during and after surgery for people who have had their wisdom teeth out. I'm getting all four extracted and when my last x-ray was taken none of them were impacted. I think I'm just nervous because of a bad dental experience ( 6 teeth pulled when I was younger and felt a great deal of pain during the whole procedure even though I had freezing.. don't think he did it correctly but they did nothing when I told them I was in pain because they thought I was just scared :/ )

Hello. I don't know exactly what freezing is but I got my wisdom teeth pulled about 2yrs ago. One of my tooth's was impacted so one side of my mouth was more sore than the other. But overall it is a tough recovery afterwards. I was still conscious too but was sedated so I did not feel anything. After the proceedure I was nauseous from not eating and the anasthesia. I was given perscribed pain pills and pills to prevent infection. The sickness lasted for about 2 days and the pain lasted for about a week. I was not able too eat anything solid for about a week too. Also the pain won't be excruciating IF you take your pain pills as perscribed. I was just scared of getting addicted too the pain pills so I did not take them as much. Overall you should be fine after a week. Good luck you can do it!
