Can hydrogen peroxide hurt my gums ?!

Question: Can hydrogen peroxide hurt my gums ?
I have been brushing my teeth with it, & using it as mouthwash more than once a day,
& i noticed at first, the ends of my gums in between my teeth were white, as if they were bleached,
so i was just wondering if it hurts then,
in the long run?

Answers:

Hydrogen peroxide is most commonly used as hair dye because it's a very strong bleach. I wouldn't advice it to be used on teeth or gums because it could easily damage your teeth and it's the reason your gums have gone white.
