I have a Wisdom tooth at each side of my upper jaw and i never had any bother with them. So don't worry about it. If you did happen to have bother you would just get them removed like any of your other teeth.

It is possible that is a wisdom tooth erupting, or perhaps just a bony protrusion of the jaw, which is common, and not an issue of concern. However, if you are very concerned, or if it changes--drains puss, or causes pain, consult your dentist. At this point you can just point it out to the hygienist on your next cleaning appointment and if she thinks it is something of concern she will ask the dentist to check it.

That's precisely how mine started out, just lumps under the gum. My top ones came through first, I now have bottom ones, both sides. Bizarre, why?

Anyway, it is painless, until it starts cutting the gum.

Sounds like wisdom teeth to me. I'm lucky I'm 25 and don't have any.

Wisdom teeth are vestigial structures from our ape ancestors which had larger jaws. Eventually evolution get rid of them in.

Wisdom teeth come through at at any time from about 17 years old to 20+ and sometime they never come through. As lump is on side of jaw it might not be a wisdom tooth.

yeah! its that! so dont worry ;)
