Think I have a tooth abscess.?!

Question: Think I have a tooth abscess.?
I have two small bumps that just popped up this morning under a tooth I had work on years ago. I do not have pain or any other symptoms associated with an abscessed tooth. So how long can I wait before I go to the dentist? Yes I realize it is a serious thing but considering this is Friday and I have a pretty full afternoon today, can I wait until Monday?

Answers:

not to be gross, but are they pus-filled, like yellow? If so, you probably need immediate attention. If not, I'm sure you're ok til Monday

You will not die or anything from it. If there is no pain and the swelling is minimal you can take some anti inflammatory OTC and wait until Monday. or you might call your regular dentist and describe your symptoms so that he can prescribe an antibiotic for you to take over the weekend, because he won't do any work if there are signs of infection.

Yes, you can wait through the weekend. Just stock up on. morphine.

The reason that teeth infections are problematic is because the tooth socket is very poorly perfused by blood, that is, they are hard to reach. Therefore the body's notmal healing mechanism does not get there.

Your best bet to do it yourself is somewhat unpleasant however will get results. You will not be sorry.

1. Get some garlic, preferable fresh and one with a tint of purple in the skin.

2. Peel the skin off of a clove of the garlic.

3. Put the clove in a plastic bag and then crush the clove thoroughly by bashing the bag with the garlic inside the bag. Add several ounces of water and let the bag sit for a while while the garlic oil and water mix. It would help to add a splash of ethyl alcohol, such as Vodka, which will bring the oil out faster. (Do not use rubbing alcohol which is methyl alcohol, a poison.)

4. Pour the mixture through a coffee filter to eliminate the garlic pulp and get the liquid extract.

5. Get a cotton ball and soak the cotton in the garlic extract. Use gloves to handle the garlic so it will not get on your fingers. Squeeze the cotton to eliminate the excess extract.
6. Now press the cotton down around the tooth, especially on the gum where the infection is evident.

Leave the cotton in your mouth for at least 20 minutes. Remove the cotton and don't drink anything for at least an hour if you can. After the treatment use mouthwash to remove the odor of garlic. Keep the garlic and all of the paraphenalia away from other people or they will complain about the smell. Put it in a plastic bag and seal to keep the odor in.

Do the treatment several times per day, especially at bedtime. Dilute the garlc extract with water and drink some of the extract at bedtme. This will get the garlic into your blood and it will attack the infection from the inside. The smell of the garlic will dissipate in about four hours so you will not wake up smelling of garlic.

Research garlic in the internet and seek the truth for yourself.

Experience, baby
