Question: I got filling about 3 hours ago, and they numbed me, and now my upper lip is like, off to the right?
I can feel my whole lip, though.
When I press my lips together or pout the right side of my upper lip like, sticks out (when I pout) and the line under the bridge of my nose is crooked when I press my lips together. Will this wear off or am I stuck like this?

Answers:
It will wear off in a few hours.
The local anaesthetic temporarily paralyses the facial nerves, so you won't have any muscle control over it. You won't be able to whistle, kiss someone properly, and you might even drool a little!
Most likely the nerve that was anaesthetised was the V2 or maxillary branch of the trigeminal nerve, just in case you were interested ; )
