Eating after wisdom teeth extraction?!

Question: Eating after wisdom teeth extraction?
Are there food I shouldn't eat after getting my wisdom teeth out and if so what can I eat. Got it done about 7 hours ago and am feeling pretty good. I have a reeses blizzard and took a few bites and all was well but I'm just wondering if that may do me any harm. Thanks in advance!

Answers:

Well if you have all four out be careful. You should try not to eat anything that will get stuck in the holes at the extraction site. Things like rice, popcorn, noodles in chicken noodle soup, and french fries can be hard to get out. Start off eating cold soft foods like apple sauce, pudding, jello, yogurt, ice cream. Then you can eat hot things later like oatmeal, mashed potatoes, and soup. Good luck!

You can eat anything you want. Just try chewing on your good side and if your got stitches avoid baguettes or anything you really need to chew hard as it may dislodge the sticthes and start bleeding. If you didnt get stitches then go easy but eat as normal.
