Is bloody drool normal after getting your wisdom teeth removed?!

Question: Is bloody drool normal after getting your wisdom teeth removed?
I got my wisdom teeth removed about 4 hours ago and ever since then a lot of spit has formed in my mouth. I've just been icing my cheeks and letting my drool slide down my mouth on a towel..but it seems likes lot of blood and drool? is this normal? I also spit once..but then i read not to spit so I didn't do it again..can I swallow this drool or just let it slowly go away?

Answers:

When I had all four wisdom teeth surgically removed they bled for hours and hours. I kept gauze on them. I also did what you said you do and drooled onto a towel. It is completely normal to have blooding drool at first. Mine was terrible. The reason you cannot spit is because you could cause dry socket. This hurts really bad though I never had it. So be careful when you are brushing. Let your spit kind of just fall into the sink. and no straws!
