Pain weeks after root canal...?!

Question: Pain weeks after root canal...?
I am 14 years old and had a root canal done sometime before Christmas. I expected the post pain. But about 2 weeks ago, I got my permanent crown on and here I am in horrible pain, popping 800mg ibuprofen at least once a day.

My mom says it's just sensitive but it's RAW pain!
Is it normal and how long does it last?

There are a lot of "C" students out there practicing dentistry. The pain is obviously due to something the dentist did and you need to get it check out by another dentist. At 14, you should not be having root canals done. You need to evaluate your diet and your overall health. Go see a nutritional therapist that can test you and help you with your diet. Primitive people did not get cavities, only in very, very rare occasions did that happen.

good luck to you
