I'm freaking out about this numbness...?!

Question: I'm freaking out about this numbness...?
Okay, I went to the Dentist a few hours ( 2-3 ) and they gave me 3 shots of novocaine above my left canine tooth, and I'm still having numbness all the way up to my left eye and that side of my face is almost completely paralyzed. I am freaking the hell out, is it supposed to numb your actual EYE? It's hard for me to blink. Normal or not?

The numbness should be gone in 3 - 4 hours.

Canines are often called eye teeth because they have long roots. Considering the amount of novocaine, and the fact that you're more than likely not used to novocaine the numbness will hang out for a few hours. Your dentist probably injected using the block method which is a method that numbs a large area. It will wear off soon, this is normal.

Doesn't usually get the eye but sometimes it happens. I wouldn't worry about it at all. Use eye drops if you need
