Whats the quickest amount of time braces can take?!

I knew someone who had braces for like... 6 months and then she got them off because her teeth were straight and her parents couldn't afford to keep them on. She never wore a retainer and her teeth went back to the way they were.. I had mine on for 3 years and I hardly wear my retainer and they stay pretty straight. My brother had his on for 5 years and his teeth are nice except for poor dental hygiene and the loss of a tooth because of that bad hygiene.. If your teeth are over crowded they might have to pull some from the back... My fiance had like.. 6 teeth pulled because of overcrowding. I didn't know him back then so I don't know how bad it was but pulling teeth is usually what they do for overcrowding. Whatever happens, I wish you the best of luck and when you get braces, I advise you to always have some dental wax handy.

The quickest would probably be 9 months. But it's not you can speed it up to 9 months if you floss and brush after every meal. The more screwed up one's teeth are is basically how long one will wear his or her braces. All you can do is take decent care of them. And i know you'll soon be wanting to give up on flossing the back teeth, but trust me, it's worth it. Don't end up like me. I never flossed the back and now they are like half the length of what they use to be.
