Question: Help me, PLEASE!! I have an ulcer but getting my braces on?
Basically i have an ulcer on the bit of skin between my bottom teeth and my lip, it hurts anyway but when the skin is stretched or i am talking or eating and stuff like that it really hurts. I have braces along the top front 6 teeth, and have retainers aswell that just fit in the back teeth on the top, and are just plastic on the teeth at the bottom. So i know what it feels like when they put braces on, and they stretch your mouth alot so they can get their hands in and stuff. Any ideas what i can do ? I have only got the ulcer when i woke up today and getting the braces on tuesday morning, thanks xx

If it doesn't go away by Tuesday, or at least hurt less & dry up, then they'll probablly reschedule for another time that it's gone. That is what happened to me, except w/ a fever blister, so yikes. P: But don't worry, they won't put them in if they know it hurts you.
