Cavities on my adult teeth. HELP?!

Question: Cavities on my adult teeth. HELP?
Ok I'm 15 and I have 2 adult teeth with a cavity...it's not bad. it doesn't hurt. And they arn't big cavitites. So they teeth they are on are on my 2 bottom front teeth. I don't want to get fossile teeth. GOD NO. I am takeing better care of them now. If I brush, floss, and use mouth wash after every meal and take good care of them....will the cavities stay as they are and not get worse? I know u can get 1 or 2 fossle teeth implanted but i was told u have to take them out at night to clean them and stuff. I DON'T WANT THAT!!!! Please help I'm worried

Answers:

Lilly, please do not worry a cavity does not mean that you will get false teeth. This is a much later stage event and nothing you should have to worry about right now. If your cavities are small I am sure that it will not be a problem to fix. Taking good care of your teeth is very important, not only for your teeth but for the rest of your body. I have included sources which you should check out for proper techniques on brushing and flossing. The better you floss and brush the better off your teeth will be.

Having a clean mouth will help slow down the decay in your teeth, however you need to go to the dentist to get the cavities filled. This way no more decay will happen to inside those teeth. The most important thing is that you know that you need to take good care of your teeth and keep them clean at all times you are much less likely to get a cavity.

If you have any questions you can always ask your dentist or hygienist about keeping your mouth clean.
