Question: Getting Braces Off ... Blue Stuff on Molars Coming off too?
I have had braces for 2 years and I'm getting them taken off in 3 days. I have also had this blue cement stuff on the chewing surfaces of my top 2 molars to fix my bite. I was told it would wear down, but it's pretty much the same as it was when they put it on 2 years ago. Are they going to remove it when they take off my braces? If so, how? I imagine my bite will feel strange without it.

I still have my braces on, but when you get them off they will clean your teeth to remove any glue remaining on your teeth - this is done not only to prevent discomfort but for when they do fittings for your retainers (:
