Answers:

getting them cut hurts way more!!!!!, trust me, i got 4 wisdom teeth taken out at once (on Friday), the pulled ones healed fast and painless, the one that was cut, it was painful, god it hurts :( (it also has a stitch in it too), the gum swells up twice as much when being cut.. (i don't really know how they do it considering they put you to sleep or drug you up real well)

they use small pliers to yank them out (for pulling)

for cutting they cut open your gum (that's surrounding your tooth) and pop it out, some teeth have complications with the roots ( sometimes the roots grow crooked) and the dentist can't yank them out, so they gotta cut the gum to get the tooth out...

I have had numerous teeth out with them being taken out both wats you have mentioned.

When they say pulling your teeth out what the basically do is get a device much like a pair of plaits and twist and pull the tooth until it comes out. You will have a local anesthetic and even after this wears off you will not experience much pain at all.

When they say cutting the teeth the do not literally mean they are going to cut your teeth. By this they mean the will cut your gums in order to give extra leverage for teeth that have larger and deeper roots as they can't be pulled straight out. After the anesthetic wears off this will be a lot more painful as the will be incisions in your gum that will most likely be stitched up, and believe me if they need to use this method to get the teeth out you WILL DEFINITELY need painkillers.

Hope this helps!

For the pulling out one, they will most likely put you under general anaesthetic, so you will not feel anything until AFTER the operation. And even then it will only be swollen for a couple days, and it's fine.

But the cutting, I am not sure if they numb the area, or make you sleep. If they numb it, it may hurt becuase of all the nerves there, and it will probably feel really uncomfortable.

But thats what painkillers are for right? (-: And don't stress about it too much, you'll be fine.

It shouldnt hurt, theyll either give u a shot in ur gums that will numb everything in ur mouth(which shouldnt hurt either) or theyll put u under anaesthesia

If you are getting that many teeth pulled than they will put you under. That means they will put you asleep. Don't worry it's not all that bad.
