Can't close jaw all the way on one side. Tooth decay?!

Question: Can't close jaw all the way on one side. Tooth decay?
When I try to close my jaw straight on the left side, there's a dull pain and it just won't completely close. Could this be a sign of a rotten molar/root?

Your history is too small to diagnose. TMJ problems can also cause problems regarding the closure of jaws. Its better you consult a dental surgeon directly instead of searching for answers here.
