Question: When should I get my teeth whitened?

I'm getting my braces off this week and I'm really excited! I want to get my teeth whitened, but I've heard that getting your teeth whitened right after having braces ruins the tooth enamel. Does anyone know how long I should wait before getting my teeth whitened?

Wait at least 6 -8 weeks....but first make sure there are no cavities...
