Severe cough, sore throat, and runny nose, should I cancel my dental appointment!

Question: Severe cough, sore throat, and runny nose, should I cancel my dental appointment for tomorrow?
Since Thursday I've lost my voice, I've had a really bad cough (plus coughing up phlegm), rattling on the right side of my chest, and a runny nose. It's now Sunday and I haven't gotten any better. My voice has somewhat returned but the rattling in my chest and coughing has gotten worse. My appointment is tomorrow at 11 and I'm wondering if I should cancel? I'm getting a temporary crown put on because I just got a root canal 8-9 days ago. I'd rather not cough and get stuck in the wrong place by the dentist!

you should cancel, just the fact you are ill, and i'm pretty sure you don't want to get other sick as well.
like you said you don't wanna cough and get stuck in the wrong place from an uncontrollable cough.

if you do go (hopefully not) you may increase the chance of infection and increase healing time while sick.

I'd cancel. Like you said, you don't want to cough while they are working on your mouth. See when the next available appointment is first though; you don't want to be waiting a few months to get that crown on.

only u know how bad it is. idk it is up 2 u? do u think u can make it or should u reschedule?

duh, no, give it to him too

severe cough? are you planning on coughing in your dentists' face? cancel now
