4 days after getting my wisdom teeth out, my gums are itching?!

The itch is a good thing, its the microscopic sensation of new tissue growing over the wound.
Like, have you ever noticed, sometimes if you get an itty bitty cut it itches as it heals? Same thing :)

does that mean it's healing?, i had to get them surgically removed, it's been 4 days and there still sore, but they started to itch on the 3rd day... is the itching a bad thing? or a good thing?, my dad said it was a good thing because that means it's starting to heal :/ (he said it also happened to him after the 3 day and it healed fast afterwards) idk
