Im having trouble keeping teeth white with braces. Help!?!

Question: Im having trouble keeping teeth white with braces. Help!?
Okay so I have had braces for about 5months now and my teeth are turning a nasty yellow colour.
I brush 2 times a day, once in the morning once before I go to bed. I use fluoride twice a day as well.
I have gingivitis and am trying to get red of it along with the yellow teeth. The thing im most worried about is the after look on my teeth. Does anyone now a way I can get them white-ish again without damaging my braces and teeth?

Its nothing to worry about. Was panicking about the something before i got mine off and the dentist should be able to get off all the yellow when he takes them off. Mine looked really yellow, then dentist used his tools and now everyone thinks i've had mine whitened. But for now use a small brush to get under the wires.

My last few years of crappy braces!

Hi Johnathan,

See your dentist to clean them for you and use a waterpik
which is brillant to use . Check out this link: http://amzn.to/2011waterpik
I have been ashamed of my smile for a number of years and was too nervous to seek help. I was so anxious and would always hide it by turning away or putting my hand over my mouth. I always want to improve my appearance but do not want to undergo anything too invasive.

By improving my smile with a combination of techniques personalised for my needs I am now very confident about my smile and look and feel younger as well.

Hi
well i have braces too so im not sureif this would work BUT apparantly rubbing the inside of a banana skin on your teeth whitens them
however stay away from fizzy dirnks! this can cause the brackets to leave a stain :/
brush 3 times a day morning-afternoon-night
floss
when you get your braces removed they do noramlly clean them, or you can jsut get them whitened! (but get it done professionally if you do! too dangerous to do it at home!)

Hi
There’s a Blog about dentistry and an article about how to whiten teeth that you should find useful. Hope this helps.
