Does Delta Dental (CA) cover 3-D xrays for root canals?!

we have the same coverage.call them and ask because we ended up with a giant bill that they would not cover.The x-rays were deemed unnecessary by the company., "a luxury" were the exact words of the representative.The insurance company felt regular x-rays were good enough.So call and ask before you end up broke trying to pay for a bill.

A lot of health plans are covering 3-D xrays these day's, however each plan is different and the best way to find out would be to contact your plan administrator. The last thing you want to find out is that you have a whopping $1,000 bill for a 3-D xray, because someone told you one particular Delta Dental plan covered it, and your particular one turned out it did not.

Which Delta dental insurance do you have? I have delta dental DeltaCare USA.
