Braces and rubber bands?!
Question: Braces and rubber bands?
I've had braces for 11 months and I am only supposed to have them for 12-14 months all together. I've been wearing my rubber bands ever since I got them in October and my ortho told me that next appointment I have I won't have to wear them any more. Does this Usually mean the end of treatment is really soon? Anyone can answer I'm hoping it does? :]

Well if you don't have to wear rubber bands that means your jaw has improved. This usually means the end of the treatment is definitely coming, but you can never be sure with orthodontists because they always find something to improve but your probably close. Ask your ortho at your next appointment and what needs to be improved or tweaked
