OMG! I need to know: do braces hurt?!

Question: OMG! I need to know: do braces hurt?
I am not gonna get braces but I really wanna know if they hurt because I might get them. Is Invisalign better? What about an expander? I am desperate! Thanks!

They don't hurt all the time, but when they are tightened, the expanders, that hurts. Sorry.

Yes they kill after you get them on, But you can take medicine like advil and tylenol to ease the pain. It seems like you have this idea that they always hurt and they dont, you will get used to them after about a week and they never hurt like the first time again except when you get them tightened. If you end up getting them good luck and hopefully youll have a gorgeous smile when youre done with them :) and invisalign is not really better, the braces are just easier to get cuz every1 has them

All of these will hurt as the pain comes from the movement in your teeth. Braces will hurt when you first get it, and then when you get them tightened. For Invisalign, it will hurt every 2 weeks when you change your trays. As for an expander, it does hurt too.

when you first get them on they will hurt but after a little bit the pain will go away when you go and get your checkups every month or so after the appointment there will be some pain in the teeth but just tak an advil and you should be fine.

youre not...but you might.
okay.

no they dont hurt. and even if they did-theyre worth it in the long run....if you have really jacked up teeth.

braces do hurt when you first get them, but only for a few days.

HAVE FUN GETTING THEM TIGHTEND EVERY MONTH
