can i be sedated with a cold?!


Question: Can i be sedated with a cold?
ive been waiting nearly 6 months to have a tooth out,
in a few days time i have my appointment to be sedated and have my tooth pulled,
ive started coughing today and am worried they wont do it,there waiting list is 6 months,i cant wait another 6 months as its very painfull and keeps getting infected,
my dentist wont pull it as the same tooth but on the oither side she had real problems getting it out and had to drill it out in the end and i couldnt eat for 3 weeks,
is it safe to be sedated with a cold,
please help as i cant find it any where on the net

I couldn't be sedated when I had a cold & was due to have a tooth out BUT it depends what sedation you are having. your cold might of gone by the time you are due to have it done.

You are best to phone your dentist and speak to them directly for advice.
