Question: My tooth is infected after a root canal?
and it hurts. The dentist is trying to get me to go ahead and put the crown on but I want to just have it pulled. The same happened to my mother and even after she got the crown she still had to have it pulled. I don't want to waste $800 on a crown only to have to get the tooth pulled anyway.
Do I stand my ground or listen to the dentist?

I spent $1000 on a Crown 2 years ago and had to have it pulled in November..I was mad as hell..If it's a molar I say go ahead and get it pulled..I don't miss it but I do miss the $1000 and the $325 to have it pulled..and that was out of my pocket!!!
