EARN A GPA OF 3.5 OR BETTER IN A 4 YR COLLEGE, MOST GET A BS IN BIOLOGY, THEN 4 YRS IN DENTAL SCHOOL AND 3 MORE FOR ORTHO.

You will need to take a lot of science classes in college, in order to prepare for dental school. Chemistry and biology are the most important ones, but the dental schools will look at your grades in all college science courses.

If you are planning to major in chemistry or biology, it is smart to take the AP courses while you are in high school. But don't necessarily limit yourself to science AP courses. If you take an AP class in foreign language, history, or whatever, that can be one less required course you will need to take in college, leaving you free to have more electives in science or whatever.

Your high school guidance counselor can give you advice about what classes to take next year. You want a strong schedule, but not one that is so loaded with advanced courses that you are overwhelmed and your grades go down.

Good luck, and I hope this helps.
