Dental help!!! in lots of pian!!!?!

Question: Dental help!!! in lots of pian!!!?
Does anyone know anything about having a bridge put on? I had just the temporary bridge put on 3 weeks ago and I have been in excruciating pain ever since. The dentist has no help or answers for me. Is this normal? I am now getting sores in my mouth all around the bridge.

Answers:

The temporary bridge might not fit as well as the permanent one will. However, the dentist should absolutely be interested in relieving the pain. If you possibly can, try to get to another dentist, because sores in your mouth are a definite sign that the temp bridge is rubbing you the wrong way, literally.

You need to go back to that dentist or find a new one. Something is obviously wrong. The fit is bad, your body is reacting to the bridge, you are not cleaning your mouth correctly, there is an infection, etc; just to name a few possibilities. Three weeks seems like a long time to wait for a permanent bridge.

If the pain is truly excruciating you might also consider an emergency room visit.
