Why is a tooth growing in my gums?!

Question: Why is a tooth growing in my gums?
I have a tooth that started to grow in my gums. It doesn't hurt it's just there. A lot of the girls that go to my school also have a tooth growing in there gums. I noticed that a lot of girls have that but hardly any boys have that. You can see the tooth but it doesn't hurt. Why is a tooth growing in my gums and why do a lot of the girls have a tooth growing in there gums also?

If you mean in front of other teeth you should the tooth behind it taken out if not i dont know

It's mainly because, your adult teeth have been waiting to come out, and they've become impatient, so your teeth have started to come through, instead of waiting for you to pull out your baby ones. Don't worry, when you pull out your baby ones, the adult tooth should shift into the baby tooth's spot. If it doesn't you might need to get braces.

I think It's just a coincidence that the boys don't have it. You could be also talking about your wisdom teeth, which girls get earlier than boys.

Hope this helps.

It's really a good question but I don't know the answer. I think It's a question of mine.
