Question: Do braces make your lips look bigger? :O?

I got mixed questions at school and I've noticed those who have braces have a small buldge under their bottom lip :O I'm getting braces soon and the only thing keeping me from still wanting them is the bigger lip look :O I already have a big bottom lip and I don't wanna make it even bigger! it's making me really frustrated because I'm going to have to wear them through my senior year and I don't wanna be fish lips >:| yea I know I should just be happy with braces but I really don't wanna called "DSL!" then I already do -_____-

I have pretty big lips too, and although you might think that your lips get bigger, I think it's just the feeling of the braces there. Most people who have a bulge in their bottom lip have it because their teeth are really far forward and the braces are making it even more noticeable. If your teeth aren't too close to your lip, you should be fine.. =)

Oooh... I hate to tell you this, but they did for me. I've had them on for about a year now, and I'm positive that my lips are bigger.
