so that your teeth are evenly colored white ? I use a power brush called oral B and I slowly move the brush back and forth 10 times while counting each side of the teeth.

It is time that matters, not the number of strokes, especially with a power brush. With a power brush, the brush itself does the strokes. Just move it back and forth and all around.
You should brush a total of 2 minutes each time. The easiest way to do that is to divide your mouth into quarters. Use your power brush for 30 seconds on the upper right (inside and out), upper left, lower right and lower left.
