A gap yes but with over/under bites they tend to give a Herbst appliance which is two rods tht are on caps tht move the jaw to ajust it.
it will help the gap but i am not completely sure about the over bite, i know it will help a lot but might not be perfect.
i had braces and it fixed my gap and it made my bite almost perfect
