Question on periodontal disease?!
Question: Question on periodontal disease?
Now its been a few months and the gums look better. There is no bleeding anymore at all. No inflammation. So I apparently stopped the progression.
I've been told that eventually those pockets should begin to close. Is that true and how long does that usually take to see a result? Anything more I can do to prevent them from getting worse?

That depends on the individual, and how clean you keep the pockets I'm afraid. If it's been a few months, you should be able to ask the dentist at your next appointment; you should have one every six months; for someone with periodontal pockets, they should be returning for evaluation every three months. If there has been no change by then, they can reevaluate. In the mean time, keep cleaning them religiously, because reinfection could mean surgery.

Hey I understand the problems you've gone through I have been
having problems with my gums as long as I can remember I have
been very please and surprised at how well this product works. I
now have my family using this but after taking two bottles of the
product, my gums have cleared up, and kept my breath fresh
Well good luck

They'll probably close a bit, but may not get down to 1mm. It sounds like you're doing an excellent job. You might add a fluoride rinse and get one of those litte rubber-tipped gum massagers. They can help, and they feel soooo good. I have one stuck in my mouth right now.
Used to work for a dentist.
