i got braces yesterday, im 13 and people have told me i look lush with them & cute:D
just think of it, if you get them, think about how straight they'll be when they get taken off:D

Not always. I didn't want braces at all, because my teeth really weren't that bad... since I'd already had 7 retainers... ANYWAYS... I told my mom the only way I'd get braces was if I got the "clear" acrylic ones. They break easier than the metal ones, but in a year I only broke one and pulled off the metal back part (guess you aren't supposed to eat nuts with braces :P). The big difference, is that acrylic brackets are $40 each, and metal bracets are fifty cents.
If you do go for acrylics, get clear elastics. Coloured ones look ridiculous.

iif you dont have strait teeth, you need braces if you want to be better looking.

its only a year or two outta your life, no big deal

and most people get them at some point, so no, not nerdy at all.

it isnt 1960 when braces went around the back of your head.

No.
it's usually not the braces that make somebody look nerdy... its them their-self!, braces just add to the *effect! if that makes sense.
Anyway, braces are fineee... loaads of people wear them.
Some people even like the look of people with braces! :)

Well, if your a nerd and you get braces, YES! but they aren't all that bad, have you thought about getting Invisalighn instead?

Not everybody, but there's some people who do look nerdy with them.

noooo

naa loads of people wear them
