I assume what you mean is how long does the tooth take to fully erupt and be visible. It can take months, sometimes it never fully comes through. You can help nature by brushing over your gum with a toothbrush vigorously encouraging the tooth to erupt and the gum to go back, Once you have pain and unbearable pain it is normal for the tooth to be impacted and need for extraction unfortunately.
