Question: Metal Braces, Clear Braces, And Aligners.?
So, I Know Pretty Soon I'll Have To Get Braces. So Which Is Better, Metal, Clear, Or Aligners(Like Clear Correct Or Something) My Brothers Are Giving Me Horror Stories About Metal Braces And Im Kinda Afraid To Get Them. Also, Have You Had Aligners And Did They Work Alright???
Also, Whats The Lowest Age You Can Get Them At. The Internet Says, Like, Any Age (Im 12.) But The Dentist People Say 13? Help Meee.

metal, they really arnt THAT bad, they just cut your lip up really bad, and hurt your teeth

I have braces and I have metal ones. They are not that bad and just need some getting used to. I got my braces on when I was 11 and I didn't even have my 12 year molars in. I like the metal braces because you can have colored rubber bands which are really cool. I have known some people at the age of 7 that have braces. So if you like being flashy and colorful, I would get metal ones. By the way, you can also get clear rubber bands with the metal braces (I have them). I hoped I helped you learn a little more about metal braces. Oh and if the metal braces do start to cut your lip, but dental wax on the bracket.
